Mike and Stefanie have been together for 12 years. They have 5 kids and 2 grandkids. Mike is a retired police officer and has been building outdoor furniture for about 38 years. Stefanie spends most of her time taking customer orders and making their customers happy! All of the outdoor furniture is personally hand-built by Mike, and Stefanie. They love their family-owned business and happy customers.

Carolina Benchworks is a family-owned business since 2014, we've built thousands of pieces of outdoor furniture both our design and custom order. We build our furniture for the family wanting to get a new picnic table, the business who wants a relaxing area for their employees all the way up to the corporation building campgrounds wanting five or six hundred tables.

We build our furniture with treated Pine. We are now beginning to use other woods as well such as Cedar and Cypress. Everything we make is built to stand the test of time. We take the time in building all our furniture to screw everything together and not nail it. We also round the edges, so they are smooth. We want the piece of furniture you choose to look good in your yard as well as be comfortable to use.
